October Trip


On October 13, we will have a trip to the United States Coast Guard Station in Elizabeth City, NC.

Friday – gather at NRUMC at 5:00pm – pack and load gear and leave no later than 5:35pm. We will travel by bus and two large vehicles (w/trailer). Pack for cool weather or rain. We will be camping in tents but if you are first class and above you may bring a hammock (in case there could be trees).

Saturday – we will cook breakfast, then gather and tour the base. Come back for lunch and have some free time. Dinner on Saturday as well as cracker barrel. Sunday we cook breakfast and have a service. We will clean up and plan to be on the road by 11am. We will provide a hearty snack/ light lunch for the ride home.

* Webelos - Future Boy Scouts are welcome to come but will need to have an adult and medical record.
