More details for the Trip are below:
We will not be stopping for dinner on Friday night so please bring a packed meal for a ride. We will stop for restroom breaks and gas. Please pack snacks for yourself – healthy is better, limit the soda and candy.
Cost of the event is $80 per person. That is $20 for food, $10 for gas and $60 for the caving and camping fees. Please pack for COLD (reviewing packing list on the website). Please pack in a backpack if you have it – or proper bag to carry.
Everyone should bring a gallon of water. It is a dry camp.
We are going to get wet so we recommend extra clothes and trash bags for wet clothes. Protect from hypothermia.
Caving we will be on our hands and knees etc and dirty but extremely fun! They recommend long sleeve shirts, jeans, shoes that have traction. You will need to pack two pairs of shoes. Ones that can get wet and ones dry to wear around/home.
Pack extra socks, poncho (in case of rain) and sleeping bag, blanket. Sweatshirts and jackets are good. Gloves if needed, knee pads if needed.
Travel in class A full uniform.
Average Temperature in cave is 55 F - average temp at camp outside is 30F at night.
