Departure:
Meet: at North Raleigh United Methodist Church at 5:30pm on Friday Garden Center
Depart: Promptly at 6:00 pm Friday.
Food: Eat individual bag dinner
Return:
We will return Sunday around 11:30 am and meet at the church garden.
Cost for attending: $60

Accommodations:
We are tenting in Camp Durant. Sites are equipped with a toilet (winter time) and running water.

Distance: 89 Miles
Time: ~ 1 hours 35 minutes
Attire: ALL Scouts will dress in Class A uniforms for travel. Please dress and/or pack for wet weather.
Meals:
We will be cooking 4 meals, Breakfast Saturday, Lunch Saturday, Dinner Saturday, Breakfast Sunday.

The Ranger’s residence is about a mile-and-a-half further down Bethlehem Church Rd. on the left at the entrance to Camp Reeves.

What to bring:
Personal Camp Equipment List (required personal items in bold)
o Boy Scout Handbook (with pen)
o Clothing (at least one complete change) appropriate for season
o Flashlight
o Knife, Fork and Spoon
o Metal or plastic cup and plate
o Rain gear (poncho) & waterproof bags
o Sleeping Bag with Foam Pad
o Toiletries (including: toilet paper, Kleenex)
Tent 1-2 person (or arrange to share) - Troop usually supplies these for scouts in their first 2 years.
o Backpack
o Camera
o Canteen or Water Bottle
o First Aid Kit
o Ground cloth or tarp
o Hat (toboggan for cold nights)
o Pillow
o Pocketknife
o Rope/twine Compass
o Towel

o Label everything with your name or initials.
o Keep your equipment dry - always pack assuming it will rain!

9:00-12:00 - Rifle/Shotgun ranges open
12:00-1:00 - Lunch and cleanup
1:00-4:00 - Rifle/Shotgun ranges open
4:00-10:00 - Free time, Dinner and Cleanup
10:00 Lights out
Sunday:
7:00-9:00 - Break down camp, breakfast and cleanup
9:00-10:00 - Final campsite cleanup, police line
10:00-11:30 - Travel.
